冬至是农历中一个重要节气，也是中华名族的一个传统的节日。俗称“冬节”“长至节”“亚岁”等。早在二千五百年前的春秋时期，中国就已经用土圭观测太阳，测定出了冬至，它是二十四个节气中早定制出来的一个，时间在每年公历12月21日至12月23日之间。
冬至这天太阳直射地面的位置到达一年的南端，几乎直射南回归线。，北半球得到的阳光少，比南半球的少了百分之五十，白昼短。常言道：做过冬至功，每天长一葱。北方从这天开始数九。
我们北方有冬至吃奶饺子的习惯。俗话说：“冬至到，吃水饺”，“冬至不端饺子碗，冻掉耳朵无人管”。朋友 别忘了吃水饺哟
